Black Youth Success (BYS) Scholarship
Through the generous donations from Alectra, Black Youth Success has been able to offer scholarships to high school youth who identify as Black, African, and Caribbean.
In 2021, a BYSSI Grade 12 student received a scholarship for $1,000 to put towards tuition and additional education-related expenses.
For the 2022/2023 school year BYS will offer the following scholarships to students participating in the BYSSI program:
- The BYSSI Post-Secondary Application Scholarship - students will be able to receive up to $200 to support with the cost of post-secondary applications
- The BYSSI Alumni Scholarship - two scholarships valued at $1,000 each for former BYSSI students who are currently enrolled in post-secondary school
